<p><strong>Healthy Diet Plan &#8211; How To Recognize It</strong></p>
<p>Healthy eating is an absolute requirement in any proper diet plan. Reducing your calorie intake is necessary if you want to lose weight, but just reduce it without considering your nutrient intake will create many bigger problems namely lack of nutrients, hunger, and fast weight gain if you trying to eat normally again.</p>
<p>A healthy diet plan will include proper portion of foods with nutrient in its program so you can lose weight AND STAY HEALTHY at the same time. Check an example of a day diet plan in a healthy diet:</p>
<p>First meal:<br /> Apple cut in slices<br /> Roasted unsalted cashews<br /> Fat free cottage cheese</p>
<p>Second meal:<br /> Roast beef<br /> Tuna mixed with Miracle Whip<br /> Steamed broccoli<br /> A can diet Barq&#8217;s rootbeer</p>
<p>Third meal:<br /> Broiled orange roughly filet with lemon pepper and parsley<br /> Unsalted walnuts</p>
<p>½ hour yoga and brisk walk</p>
<p>Fourth meal:<br /> Small shrimp with lemon and cocktail sauce<br /> English cheddar cheese<br /> Pinto beans</p>
<p>Note:<br /> * 64oz water throughout the day<br /> * There is 2.5-3 hours space between each meal<br /> * Just eat until you are satisfy; there is no such thing as &#8216;portion&#8217; here</p>
<p> Based on the plan above, there are some facts about healthy diet plan that can be seen:</p>
<p><strong>1. Eat enough calories</strong><br /> If you suddenly cut a lot of your calorie intake, you&#8217;ll having problem in your ability to completing your daily activities . During a diet, you will very likely to have less than recommended 2,000 calories but DO NOT takes less than 1,200 calories.</p>
<p>Meal plan like the plan above will give you 1200-1600 calories per day which is enough to support your body throughout a day activities. It is really not recommended to cut less than that unless you are under doctor supervision.</p>
<p><strong>2. Eat balanced diet</strong><br /> Although you are on a diet, ban one or more food groups from your meal plans are not advised. Instead, a healthy diet plan should include variety of food from various food groups in the right proportion.</p>
<p><strong>3. Keep adequate meal portions throughout the day</strong><br /> There are diets that suggest to reduce meal portion drastically for fast result, but the side effects will be very inconvenience; for examples: headache, stomach ache, hunger, anxiety, and so on. From the example above, you can see that even the portion is small, the plan include four meals with short interval, thus you can avoid hunger.</p>
<p>If you are somehow forced to eating out and can&#8217;t stick to the diet plan, just stick to the regular portion no matter how much the restaurant discount or promote their super size packet.</p>
<p><strong>4. Control your milk and dairy foods intake</strong><br /> Milk and dairy foods have high saturated fat content, so it is not advisable to consume them in large quantities. However, they are good calcium source which is important for bone and teeth. Remember to choose the one that comes from grass-fed cattle and watch your portion while consuming dairy products.</p>
<p><strong>5. Make sure to includes meat, fish, eggs, and beans in your meal plans</strong><br /> This food group is major protein source, which is needed for growth and repairs. Check the meal plan example above and you&#8217;ll find that it includes them all. Be very careful for red meat since it contains high level of saturated fats.</p>
<p><strong>6. Limit saturated fat, trans fat, and sugar</strong><br /> A healthy diet plan must still includes fat in it meal plans, but avoid saturated and trans fat as much as possible since these two type of fats are associated with many chronic diseases such as cancer and heart disease. It should also avoid too much sugary foods since it will make your weight management difficult.</p>
<p><strong>7. Including exercise session</strong><br /> Exercise is a must in a healthy diet plan. You don&#8217;t need hours of cardio or weight training although those sure can help; instead, mild exercise such as yoga or light jog will do. The key in exercising is consistency; hours of weight training and sprinting for a week won&#8217;t be much use if you&#8217;re giving up on the next week.</p>

Occasionally, it is okay to have them as long as you keep it at low portion; it is even better if your diet include this (also known as ‘cheat day&#8217;) in its program.</p>

<p>I just basically want something to follow. I have tried losing the weight on my own but it&#8217;s really difficult because i don&#8217;t really have guidelines to follow and things like that, so i tend to just drop it and not be disciplined.</p>
<p>My day is a little like this:<br />
Wake up at 7 am. Get dropped off at school.<br />
School from 8am to 3pm<br />
Get picked up right after school.<br />
Come home and do homework from 4 to whenever i finish, and it&#8217;s usually dark by then.<br />
Go sleep at 11pm (hoping to change this and go to sleep earlier if school work doesn&#8217;t last that long)</p>
<p>So, I just need some tips. From my house to school is about 3 miles. I had walked home for a while but usually in slippers (or flip-flops. sorry I&#8217;m from Hawaii, we call &#8216;em slippers) because I didn&#8217;t have shoes to properly wear, but i stopped since it wasn&#8217;t good for my feet and legs. But I&#8217;m going to be buying Dr. Scholl&#8217;s  Jamie shoes which I hope will be comfortable to wear for that walk. If it&#8217;s not, then I&#8217;ll just wear my athletic shoes. </p>
<p>Any easy tips on exercises to do? Some easy, healthy meals? &#8220;Diets&#8221;? Anything is greatly appreciated <img src='http://www.fastandhealthyweightloss.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />  I just really want to change so my self-esteem increases and I feel better about myself. (and my mother stops making remarks on my weight)<br />

You can substitute things if you don&#8217;t like them, just make sure they have the same health value before you change them. A few years ago I added my best friend of 20 something years to my cell phone plan to save him money. I made a deal with him, I&#8217;ll pick up the cell phone tab and he pays for my lunch when we go out &#8211; usually once a week $  10 or less meal.</p>
<p>He beats the hell out of his phones. He keeps dropping them and now the latest one he dropped isn&#8217;t working well/in bad shape. So I got him a temporary cheap replacement on e-bay for $  20 or so, and it works it&#8217;s just basic. Now he&#8217;s due for an upgrade, he wanted a cheap phone, so I got him a nice LG Flip phone that was free. He was immediately unhappy because it has a camera, but won&#8217;t do video messaging. So I returned it for an exchange after Verizon processes the return I can get another phone at discounted or no fee and he&#8217;s unhappy about waiting for that and buggin me about it.</p>
<p>After all this I&#8217;m wondering what I should do, we&#8217;re close friends and I don&#8217;t want to create problems but he knows he drops his phones and won&#8217;t anti-up the money for one of the super durable cell phones designed to be dropped. He&#8217;s annoyed about it and seems like he might be getting irritated with me.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m tempted to explain that when you knowingly keep abusing your phone and don&#8217;t try a case, you need to exercise responsibility at some point. I thought I was doing pretty good by working to get replacements (one from e-bay that he&#8217;s using now) and one new, which is a great phone but it doesn&#8217;t have video.</p>
<p>How should I explain it in a nice way? Or I could be mean and say &#8220;fine, you&#8217;re off my cell phone plan,&#8221; be the soup nazi &#8220;No phone for you!&#8221; <img src='http://www.fastandhealthyweightloss.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

The contract for your line will be over in 4 months and it&#8217;s time for you to get your own plan.  Then, forget about his upgrade and cancel his line as soon as the contract ends.</p>
