Should I return it to the store?

I bought a 6 pack of those Safeway meal replacement shakes to try a few days ago. I’ve always drank the Ensure shakes and I love them, but I just decided to try the safeway ones. Even though I shake them really well before opening. There are still kinda like chunks of milk/chocolate or whatever, almost like its outdated. But it says expiry date is Jan2010. Is it supposed to be like that or should I return it? And will they even accept it now because I drank 3 out of the 6 already.

I would return it, stick with the ones that
you usually buy. If it has chunks then
it doesn’t sound very good to drink.

I don’t care what the date on it is. If it smells funny, looks funny or doesn’t taste right, it goes back. Or down the sink or in the garbage. You are putting it into your body after all.

It would probably be more hassle to return that it is worth. Now you know that the Safeway brand is not something that is any good and won’t buy it again. However, some stores have this offer that if you purchase their store brand and don’t care for it, they will replace it with the national name brand. Give it a shot. The worst they can do is say no.

If you want or need to try to salvage those that are left, maybe if you poured them in a blender it might help mix them up better. I know that you are not suppose to have to do that, but sometimes, you just have to think outside of the box.

not if you drank THREE, thats half…
you shoulda went after you had a sip of the first one

You have to vigorously shake those things for a good minute. It wouldn’t bee worth the time or energy anyway to take them back.
