All these bars are is a way to get us to spend our money on something we really do not need at all.

If you buy them they are okay, but only once in a while.

Eat a balanced diet and eat six times a day two to three hours apart. Between breakfast, lunch and supper eat a healthy snack. That’s a good place to throw in a energy bar.

Protein results in lean muscle mass, which is heavier than fat, but burns more calories throughout the day. These bars are good if they are actually replacing your meal. You should be eating 4-6 times per day to keep your metabolism at its optimal speed. Eat lots of fruits and raw veggies (like carrots and celery) throughout the day. If youre hungry 30 min after you eat one of those bars, it’s no good. You should be eating every 2-3 hours. The bar might be good for your chocolate craving. Maybe have a bite or two of the bar throughout the day when youre really craving some chocolate. And chew every bite as if it’s your last. It’ll sate your craving faster and make you full faster.

If you use it as a meal replacement and not an extra snack, then yes it’s a good choice.

Some people find high carbs creates cravings (hunger comes from carbs), so beware if you get hungry.

People on the Kimkins diet use 0-2 carb whey protein powder to make meal replacement shakes that are pretty delicious!
