Looking for the name of an old gentleman that used to host his own cooking show. He used to wear bibb over-alls….he drank a glass of wine with all of his meals….he was heavy-set…he was based in Louisiana ( I think ) and cooked mainly cajun/creole dishes……He had a wonderful sense of humor and never failed to insert it into his cooking “lesson”. My new boyfriend had one of his cookbooks but lost it. I’d like to suprise him with a replacement. Any help would be appreciated.

His name is Justin Wilson. I watched his show all of the time and he did always drink the wine at the end of the show. There is a lot of information on him on Google.

Justin Wilson, my favorite, he did a lot of cooking with wine, and I think he did more sampling of the wine than the food got! Eh,heeee…

He always said I guarantee, and always made that funny noise. But he was funny, and I miss his shows.

Justin Wilson…he was a funny guy…the cajuns didnt really like the guy cause he was from the Shreveport area which the cajuns refer to as LA…(lower Arkansas)…..but he got a lot of people turned on to Louisiana cooking…and his wine statement was…”the kinda wine i drinks…is the kinda wine i likes”!!!

You have probably waited too long to get one of his cookbooks before Christmas. Maybe you can try Ebay and get him one for Valentine’s day. I would say it is Justin Wilson also. I used to watch him, and I wondered what had happened to him.
