I am 16 years old and I do quite a lot of activity, such as going to the gym, dancing and running. However, I am a vegetarian and have been for about 2 years. I eat quorn products, beans etc, but was having doubts as I wasnt sure whether I was getting enough minerals or protein, mainly protein in my diet.

no it is safe for no one

you just wait and see the vegetarians die out at the age of 50 and there will be clinical evidence vs the stupid guessing that goes on these days

    BE WARNED

Fish, Eggs, Dark Leafy Greens, and Beans like Lentils are things you should be eating regularly. Also carbs like bread and pasta.

No its not dangerous long as your eating all those things.

Sure it’s safe. You say you are a vegetarian—not vegan, which generally means you consume dairy and eggs. These are great sources of complete proteins, but you can also get this in combining most beans and grains. Beans and rice is a classic combination. Soy and quinoa are two other veg sources of complete proteins.

Being vegetarian , or vegan is perfectly safe. If you’re really worried maybe a daily vitamin supplement might be a good idea.

if you eat a balanced vegetarain diet with enough calories for your activity level you’ll be great!

It sounds like you’re fine. Are you getting whole grains and eating leafy greens as well? You should be okay. If you do a really hard workout, or one where you train your muscles heavily, it could be wise to add a post-workout protein smoothie, but I’d suggest that for anyone who wanted an extra protein kick post-workout.

Absolutely not. It’s dangerous. You miss out on a lot of vitamins and minerals, and cannot get enough protein in your diet unless you eat meat.
