I’ve heard of many diets, including the all pineapple, all the time. But many of these don’t seem very safe. What is a safe diet that will cause you to lose weight, but not at the cost of your health?

yes im even on it right now what you do is pick out one day in the week to eat any and as much sweets as you want but for the rest of the week you excercise moderately increasing more excercize day by day and not eating any sweets on the days that you dont pick

I think that the best diet for u is your diet. set yourself a good menu and do sport 4 times a week one hour a day….you’lle see that in one month you will lose about 5 pounds….that worked for me….
The one I have been doing for sometime now is called Isagenix. It is a meal replacement. I do a 8oz shake in the morning and a 600 calorie lunch and another shake in the evening. The shakes take my appetite away and since I am also diabetic I dont take any shots or pills. I also exercise at the gym.
dont eat meat and if you do onley eat lean white meat
and dont eat junk food or fast food and exercise like run like 3 times a weak but do it like every other day otherwhys
you will hurt your musels and do strenth traning the other days but start slow and dont push your slef to hard or you will do more harm them good

Yes there is a safe diet. I went to a nutrionist and was on an 800 calorie a day diet. You must have all white protein. Absolutely no bread products and must take vitamin B. I lost about 20 pounds in a 2month period. It was hard at firts. But sticking to it paid off. Check out a local nutritionist.

The best you can do is count your calories and eat enough of everything, our body needs all types of food, yes, carbs too and fat. Each one of us has different nutritional needs according to your age, current weight, hight, etc and activity level.

It is not healthy to lose more than two or three pounds a week, this has terrible impact on your health. Those diets that advertise you can lose 10 pounds in 10 days are not good. Your body is not a ballon, but if you treat it like one, you will end up sick and very inflated.
Let me explain. When you supress deliveratly foods, or go onto a crazy diet this changes your methabolism, therefore affecting your entire body and brain, therefore, altering the normal function of your glands, like the Thyroid, which basically controls your weight. You don’t want to mess up with it.
Drink a lot of water and stay away from caffein and alcohol, that is always healthy.
If you are toooo overweight you may in did have a thyroid disfucntion and you need to see a doctor for this. This can be diagnosed in a simple blood test.

If you do not exercise regularly start now! slowly and easy on yourself. Walking is great (boring I know…I have a spine injury and can only walk.. so I know)but a lot of fat acumulates because your blood circulation is not good enough, after walking for a moderate period of time, when you stop you can feel your body geting more blood and energized. Swiming is good too and it can be more fun.
i dont know if there is a safe diet but if u have a good metabolism and drink water every morning after waking up u will have a good shape.
I agree with all of the above except for those that require you eat only one type of food. Your brain is mostly fat so if you cut out a major portion of your diet, you will damage something. SO, eat a balanced diet- have more sugars in the morning, more meat at night and COMPLEX carbs. minimize breads and starches. If you restrict yourself too much you will go insane. Eat within every 3 hours (we are grazers, not lions) you will have higher energy too, and if you NEED sugar, then have a MINI candy bar, or 2-4 chocolate kisses. Exercise 4+ times a week doing something you love and in the morning is better, because your metabolism will remain higher all day, rather than just in the evening. Suzanne Somers was helpful because in her books, she talks about food combining. it works really well. Best of luck!

I go to a homeopathic doctor. It is not so much for weight loss, but for internal health. I did lose 12 pounds in 2 weeks, though. It is because I started to eat the correct foods specified for my body, and I am not suppose to be the weight I was.
south beach diet is excellent. my doctor recommended it and it has worked wonders for me. atkins is a nono, it deprives your body of carbs. it can cause brain damage because your brain can only run off carbs and not protein. south beach is my reccommendation.

go with LA Weightloss. i did it, and lost 34 pounds. the exercises are easy and fun, the food selection is great, and it’s easy to stick to it. even after i was done with them, i kept doing the exercises, and i’ve never felt better.
Go by the food pyramid, its why its there and for some reason everyone but elementary kids have forgotten about it. If you go by the food pyramid and have 45 min a day of exercise you will be fit and healthy.

I have been drinking chinese green tea. I drink two cups per day. If you drink 3 per day they say you will lose weight without having to exercise.
Of course it goes to reason you should watch what you eat.
the easiest one that i can think of isnt one at all you just watch what you eat and choose healthy choices instead of like mcdonalds and go to the gym and not be like a junk food king
No, all diets will only have effect as long as you use them, when you stop, you go back to square 1. the best thing to do is to avoid eating less than, if any, 5ml of cholestral(your body makes the cholestral. Also, it is proven that it is best to comsume 1500-2300ml of soldiem (results may vary)

After my baby sister was born, my mother asked our family doctor that exact question. Our doctor said, “shut your mouth and leave the table.”
From that point on, mom joined Weight Watchers and put our whole family on a diet. That was in the early 60’s.
In addition, after dinner every evening, she’d put my sister in the stroller and we’d walk, 1/2 mile at first and later up to 5 miles – almost every evening.
She kept the weight off for the rest of her life.
eat right not nessecarally count carbs or anything but be causous of what you eat, and exercise at least 2 times a week…thats about the best thing i can give you…ooh and be sure to talk to your doctor or whoever to ask what he or she thinks about a good diet for you…PILLS DONT WORK!!!
My best friend is doing the south beach diat and she has lost like 15 to 20 pounds and is in better health than she was b4!! if u dont or cant mayb you should talk to ur doctor bout a good diet

i have done lots of diets including dr supervised high protein. i recently tried something that worked really well and wasnt very difficult. for breakfast : 1-2 0% fat yogurts: lunch : steamed chicken breast or porkloin (pork chops can be used too!) with steamed veggies; dinner : a huge salad. i did it with my boyfried for 3 weeks and i lost 8lbs he lost 10. And as i said we were not hungry and felt great when we saw the pounds peel off day by day!!
The only thing that works for me is to cut out soda pop, and fried foods then eat smaller meals with just room enough for a little something sweet at the end of the day.
I think that drinking a lot of water is helpful as well.

Eat foods low in fat, high in fiber, lots of protein, work out at least 30 minutes a day at least 5 days a week. I give myself the weekends to splurge and have sweet food or whatever I’m craving and it helps boost my metabolism. There was an article on netscape about it actually. Lastly, drink clear fluid…H2O instead of drinking juice. Eat fruit to get your vitamins. Juice is just filled with empty calories. Lastly, don’t obsess about it, as stress can cuase you to keep weight on, and obsessing about it doesn’ tmake it half as much fun when you finally lose it all. We’re in this together right now. I’ve lost 8 pounds since the new year doing what I’ve just suggested to you. Good luck!
Yes, to lose weight you need to increase activites and decrease calories. it is helpful to stay away from high sugars and fats! So eat less work more!
