Seriously diet pills shouldn't be used by anyone point blank. Diet and exercise are pretty much the safest routes. If you say that it's not working do you mean there aren't drastic differences and quick-show elements. Because if that's what you're using as a measurement you're definitely going to be disappointed. If she is losing as little as a pound or two a week, then that means it was working. Quick weight loss isn't easy despite what you may have been told, and when it is easy, it's not long-lasting and could ultimately be detrimental. So you'd probably be best sticking with tried and true, albeit less swift working, methods in the long run it will not only promote a healthy lifestyle, it will show it's results one way or another.

I know that wasn't the answer you were looking for, the answer to your initial question is no.

I wish there was a pill. If there was, no one would be overweight...I highly reccommend Weight Watchers, I think there is something they can do for your daughter, even though she is young. Call them. It DOES work. Good Luck.

to be honest no exercise pill is good for anybody.

i know diet/exercise may not have worked in the past but it really is the only safe route to go

maybe a new approach to it is needed

do all the family eat healthily? as if they dont it would be very hard for your child to eat differently to the rest of the family

try to approach it as a life change rather than just a quick weight loss

if you go down the pill route you are setting your child up for many future problems with food/diet

could you incorporate fun outdoor/exercise activities that you could do with your daughter

approach it positively with love and support and educate her about the right healthy food to be eating..... now is the time to do it while she is young

her self esteem could be low so help her build it up and just be careful never to criticise her about her weight

good luck with it and i strongly advise not to introduce diet pills
