HMM.. NEVER HAD THE ENERGY-SMOOTHIE FROM COLD STONE… OR ANY SMOOTHIE FROM COLD STONE TO BE HONEST… BUT, I JUST GOOGLED A COLD STONE SMOOTHIE RECIPE AND IT BASICALLY IS 1 1/2 CUPS STRAWBERRIES, A CUP OF OJ (THOUGH YOU CAN PUT WHATEVER JUICE YOU DESIRE OF COURSE) 2 BANANAS, AND 4 CUPS OF A SORBET [OR YOU CAN USE NON-FAT YOGURT] FROM EXPERIENCE THOUGH, I FIND THE SMOOTHIES MADE WITH SORBET (LIKE THE STRAWBERRY+BANANA SMOOTHIE FROM HAAGEN DAZ) ARE SUPER DELISH

WHAT ARE YOU FAV. FRUITS TO COMBINE? WHAT FRUITS DO YOU TASTE IN THE ENERGY SMOOTHIE?

  3. smdiner says:

    3 overripe banana mashed
    2 sccops vanilla yogurt
    2 tbsp chocolate syrup
    1/2 cup milk
    4 tbsp honey
    2 tbsp protein powder

    blend on high until smooth

1 cup of frozen strawberries, 1 banana, 1 cup of low fat milk, 1 or 2 scoops of low fat vanilla ice-cream, 4-5 scoops of vanilla complan. (thats what we use in New-Zealand as a type of protein powder/meal replacement so I guess it’s the same as protein powder) Mix all ingred together in a blender.
What you have is a cheap, low fat smoothie. The banana, milk and protein powder keep you energized and full for ages. On hot days you can also add ice to the blender.
