Do you think it is safe to buy Quinoa online?

Where exactly should I order this from, I am just browsing now, and even EBay has it of all places. I dont want to go local and buy this, Im pretty sure a local health food store carries it even maybe Kroger but I dont have time to seek these places out. Help Me! Healthy and Macrobiotic diet food people!

How can I make high-calorie snack bars that have healthy ingredients like fruits and vegetables in them ?

I’m trying to satisfy the 6-meals a day and 3000 calorie diet for bodybuilding, but with my tight college schedule, the only meals I get (with the exception of my wonderful breakfast of course) are imbalanced and in the longterm CANNOT have a good impact on my health.

I had previously resorted to meal-replacement bars (taking 3 a day) and found them a very convenient snack. So my plan was to create my own bars that are more balanced with fruits and vegetables and everything else so that 3 of them give me more than HALF of the FDA recommended amount of servings for fruits, vegetables etc. The rest I’ll try to get from normal meals. My schedule’s not THAT busy.

Any ideas for how can I create these bars? I can work with the taste as long as they’re a fourth of the way to decent. I don’t think I’d be too particular, as long as they’re balanced, I’ll learn to enjoy them. The easier to create the better – I’m thinking something like 1) BLEND fruits, vegetables etc. and then 2) mix with something else and 3) BAKE and 4) Cut into bars of desirable size. Hope someone can help me out here. I have no cooking knowledge whatsoever. Thank you!
I also wanted the bars to be as close to 500 calories as possible, but 300 is ideal.

How safe is it to use 1/4 c Valerian Root Tea mixed with juice for irritability from diahrhrea who is 1 year o?

I have been using the BRAT diet and he just cries alot at times until he has a BM (which is loose)

Protein shakes in powder form?

Im a beginner at vegitarianism, so Im still eating meat occasionaly, or products that go against the vegitarian lifestyle. Ive read somewhere that just because something says vegan or vegetarian on it, that it still may have things in the ingredients that arent actually that way. Like if it has casien in it, or bee pollen, etc. Like I said Im a beginner, I still dont know it all.

One of the main things is that I wake up at 5am and arrive at work at 6am, then dont get home until around 4pm. From the time that I wake up until I get home, the only thing I’ll eat are meal replacement bars, shakes, and fruit and veggies in snack form. Honestly when I am working, if I eat too much I get sick from all the moving around I do. Which is why I prefer shakes and bars. I used to drink Atkins shakes becuase they were the only ones that didnt mess my stomach up, same with their bars.

So are there any meal replacement shakes in powder form so I can mix it with rice milk and are there any meal replacement or snack bars. I know of Cliff bars, I like those and I was told they are vegan. I have heard of Spiru-tein powders and bars, those are supposed to be vegetarian. If any of that isnt right, please let me know. Since I prefer shakes and bars while I am working, Id like to keep with that but use vegetarian style to it. Nothing against the vegans, I just dont like the bees, they scare the hell out of me.

Also, I live with my parents still, sad but true, and with waking up that early, I cant use a blender to make a shake from scratch. I can after work though. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I left a South Beach Diet frozen pizza in my car for about a week. It thawed out, but its pretty well sealed in the shrink-wrap plastic inside. There’s no mold on it.

Okay, thanks for all hte answers. I microwaved it, and upon cooking it the cheese took on a bizarre appearance and odor like ear wax mixed with buttermilk.

So i’m on my seventh day of being a lacto-ovo vegetarian and have some questions. I’ve been eating a lot of quorn products, salads, fruit, peanuts, etc. This is probably my fourth or fifth attempt at going completely veggie, but before I started this time, I read a lot on websites about making the switch. I’m a 15 year old female if that helps at all. I’m wondering what a good vegetarian cookbook would be for starting to cook my own meals. Also is it okay to eat so much of the meat replacement products? (like quorn, boca, gardenburger, etc) And also I can’t find the gardenburger riblets at our local grocery store, do I have to go to a heath food store or something? I also want to make sure that I’m being as healthy as I can so some tips from long time vegetarians would be very welcome! Thanks in advance and sorry that was so long!

is being a vegetarian while pregnant safe and a healthy option for you and your child?

I don’t know of anyone who has been pregnant or conceived a child while being a vegetarian, as of now Im a vegetarian and In the future hope to have kids. Was just curious on the subject. Thought maybe you would need to get more energy/vitamins/nutrients from other foods other than what a vegetarian diet consists of since you’ll be carrying a child
